Anthony Ing will be screening their celebrated short film Jill, Uncredited (2023), an experimental found-footage film that explores the mostly uncelebrated labour of the ‘extra’, or ‘background actor’. Following the screening Ing will be joined in conversation by Xin Peng and John David Rhodes.

Anthony Ing is a British and Canadian filmmaker and composer, whose work explores existing cultural artefacts with a particular focus on the relationship between identity and performance. Co-founder of production outfit, Loop, they have produced a range of artist-led film projects since 2014, receiving awards at the Griersons, BFI London Film Festival and the British Independent Film Awards. Their latest film Jill, Uncredited had its international premiere at Berlinale 2023.
